I have found a pair of 2002 10x42 SLC in pristine condition. It's been difficult for me to find any recent "comparables" in determining a reasonable purchase price. The seller is asking $950 which seems high to me. I will admit I have been spoiled, I bought my 2000 8x30 SLC for $350. Anyone buy or sell this era Swaro lately? What'd you give/get? Thanks

I think a value would be in the $750 - $800 range. I have owned this model,
and it still compares well. You can find them in the price range and the "Neu" model with later armor is the best, they were from 2005 and until 2009 or when they were discontinued. Swarovski kept improving coatings on these until the last few years. Usually a little bit brighter, and the Neu had the Swaroclean, easy to clean, water and oil repellent coatings.

NDhunter, thanks for the reply. That sounds closer, but he's had them in his safe since new and I don't think he's kept up on changes and values.
