Like the title says, looking for a budget dot $250 or (preferably) less that is as bright as possible on the highest setting.
Style, type, battery life all that is secondary. Not expecting anything as bright as my Aimpoint at that price point, but want something a lot brighter than the Bushnell TRS-25 ... |

The holosuns and the holoson rebrands are all good bright sights. That would be sigs, primary arms, truglows, and a few other brands.

You are right about Holosuns, though not all Sig's are Holosuns rebrands.
Add HiLux MM2 to the list. ILya

To me, having bright illumination defeats the purpose. If it’s bright, your not going to be able to see your target in low light. It will be overwhelmed by your crosshairs. Dim, barely visible illumination is much more useful imo.

The question is about red dot sights, not scopes with a crosshair. In a red dot sight, during the day, you need a very bright dot to be able to go fast. In low light, you turn the intensity down. ILya

I have a couple of Holosun that I like well. Illumination is easy to adjust.

The Sig Romeo linked above, is that a Holosun rebrand?
