USO B10, 1.8-10.

Looking at the GAP vs JNG Mil reticles.  I have an SN3 3.2-17 with the GAP, and I like it a lot, and its a useful reticle.  However, this optic is going on a pig gun, and I am wondering if the large outer ring would make targeting a little easier at lower magnifications.

Most importantly, I have read a review or two that suggest that, at 10x, the GAP in the B10 is coarse/thick.  Wondering if the JNG might have finer stadia lines and offer less obstruction of small targets.

Any experience comparing the two reticles, specifically in the B10 1.8-10, or in general?

Thanks.

There is some sort of a lawsuit happening with USO right now:

I can't make heads or tails over what is happening with the company, so if you are looking to buy a scope from them keep that in mind.

Oh boy, here we go.  Thanks for the heads up.

I sent in a scope that USO deemed not fixable, so they offered me a replacement, and the B10 was an option.  Either way I'm getting a brand new scope, just need to figure out reticle choice.

Can always put it on fleabay.....

Don't get me wrong.  The company itself might be just fine long term.  I simply do not know.

GAP VS JNG  on BFX10GAP    Would you consider the H425 reticle? when illuminated I would think it would be a superb choice.  I am not much on the large illuminated circle of the JNG. My scope has the GAP and I like that.   For night I do like the red post on a trijicon accupoint scope though

I looked at the Horus, but this was replacing an SR-8C which had broken.  "New" USO said they can't rebuild it and offered me a replacement.  Upgrading to the Horus would have cost me $300.

I wish I could have just had the SR-8C fixed instead.

Well, the B10 1.8-10 is huge, heavy, and the GAP reticle within it is THICK, when compared to the exact same reticle in my SN3 3.2-17.  So thick that to call this a precision scope would be incorrect, in my opinion.

Might sell it and buy an Atibal 1-10 instead.

Link to trade it in at SWFA if there is something different you want to try.
