Built a 22 LR for shooting long range 22 shoots. We have a couple 2-3 hours from where I live.  Looking for tips and hearing others experiences with these types if shoots.  Do they run these like PRS style or a different setup?

WE do some informal shoot stuff here between me and about 5 other guys.  normally we set up at 100 to start and warm up with and then move on out.  250s normally about as far as those guys can handle and I normally loose the group past that, we shoot at bowling pins 99% of the time set up on 2" PVS pipes.  I use a 10/22 as well and a SS 3-9.  Its fun and cheap.  Finding the right ammo takes the most time.

Was sure I had a point when I started this post...

In Missouri they are having 22 matches hoted through NRL.  Below is a link to NRL and the NRL 22 division.  It appears that in Montana there are matches at the Central Montana Shooting Complex.

Central Montana Shooting Complex

Lewistown, MT

We hold a monthly 22lr match, with targets out to 200 yards
Registration is on practiscore.

As CMSC reaches to finish our goals of a premier shooting facility. We look forward to talking with any person or group that is interested in making a large tax-deductible donation to Central Montana Shooting Complex. We still have the Rifle and Magnum Pistol range, Skeet Range, Sporting Clays Course, Indoor Range Building and the entire complex, with name at the front gate, which can be named after some interested person or group. First class signs for central Montana’s shooters to see will forever sign these names on each particular venue.

For more info contact tom@cmtsc.com or call 406-350-1675
