Officer "why did you shoot him 16 times?"

this is also being influenced by the fact that the Colt is currently on sale at a local shop at a good price and I don't want to miss it!

The SP2022 is a very under rated Sig. I would keep it. Mine would be one of the last handguns I would sell.

Does your LGS do lay away or something similar?

They do offer lay-a-way... and that's what I used for the Colt!  I'll post some pics when I get it... 90 days or so.   I may end up doing the same for the P320 too.
take em!

I shot a Sig 320, 45acp,  a few times.
Right off, it felt good in the hand. I liked the trigger as well.
If the comparison is to Glock, I'd take the Sig, hands down.

I could live a thousand years, and would still want a hammer and a manual safety.

Old dog: old tricks.

But yea, HK makes a very respectable gun. My HK45 is among my favorite guns to shoot, as are my P7s. I have a P30 that I don't love, but tolerate well.

Great guns.

An update (and this seemed to be the place) on my Xfive adventures.

With Shield's release of an Xfive plate for their excellent RMS optics, I now have an RMS on my Xfive. That same site has ridden on a few Glocks and I never loved it, it always took effort to find the dot, then place the dot. With the Sig, that effort is gone. I index the sig so well, I present, and the dot is close-to if not directly-on target. 'Tis a beautiful thing.

Were it not for my favorite M17 holster's cut and style, the M17 would have an RMS. And, before anyone asks, the rear site notch on the RMS coupled with the front site post on the Xfive is a dead nuts 15 yard hit with my usual ammo. I don't know for certain that would be true of the M17k, but am betting it would be close. That rear site notch is genius, and makes mounting a red dot on a real-world gun a no-brainer. If the site fails, you're back to old school irons, which works well too.

The Glocks are dead to me.

For sale, every damned one of them!
