Hit Africa again this year after my leg healed well enough to go. I wanted to work on finding the little guys of the "Tiny 10" plus whatever else came our way. I took a Sako A7 in 30-06 SPRG with a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 with BRH Reticle zeroed at 200 yards. Since Sako/Tikka stocks are garbage, I've put a new McMillan on it. First stop: Port Elizabeth in the East Cape (more precisely - 2 hours north of Sommerset East). Porcupine Steenbok Southern Bush Duiker Vaal Rhebok Caracal Cape Bushbuck Common Springbok Black Springbok Copper Springbok White Springbok Second stop: West of Jeffries Bay. Damn, it was cold. Cape Grysbok Blue Duiker (Unsuccessful) Third stop: Zululand in the Natal Red Duiker Warthog Common Reedbuck. Edited by REMF - July/07/2019 at 22:13 |

Very nice...all to often we forget about the little ones and only concentrate on the big guys like kudu, eland etc.
The small antelope can be a big challenge. |

When you are dead, you don't know you are dead.It is difficult only for others.
It is the same when you are stupid. |
