First, no to both. I have moved away from Glock and am now a Sig guy. Glock had me for several years, the damn things just work; however, ergonomics were never great for me and triggers were even worse. In Sig, especially the new 320 series, I found ergonomics that fit me well and a trigger that isn't 1911-like, but is worlds better than the Glock.

Next, I haven't tried the SRO yet, but want to. I have several other red dots on handguns and really, really like the setup. At the moment, the RMS is still my favorite, but the SRO looks intriguing.

Am not hijacking the thread, but thought I could broaden the topic a bit.

Glock sucks.

Well I still have a Glock 45 MOS  (yes I still hate 9mm) and I'm still wondering what to put on top of it the Trijicon SRO looks interesting but there seems to be a lot of love for the RMS.
Anyone running a Trijicon SRO  yet?????  Koshkin did you get a look at them at shot?

I haven’t seen the the Trijicon in question. I have a P220 getting the slide milled for the Leupold Delta Point Pro as we speak. I should get it back next week. I looked at an Aimpoint Acro the other day. I liked it a lot. Might take a look.

I have found answer to my search for information on the Trijicon SRO.  This optic is NOT for Duty Use it is not designed to be as rugged as the Trijicon RMR.  Not as impact resistant. It is however well suited for competitive type shooting.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QrtWs9K_nM    Another review from Sage Dynamics on suitable optic for handgun DUTY USE   this one on the Holosun 508T Gen 2 which is due to be released soon. The T version is titanium and the optic has a side loading battery - CR1632 Battery
https://www.holosun.com/index/product/item/cid/1.html  Later this year they plan to release another pistol optic that uses solar and charges a capacitor and it lays so low that you can co-witness with standard sights, which would be ideal.
I will also include a couple of tid bits of information that I have run across for the pistol optic curious.

H&K is now producing the VP9 striker fired 9mm in an optics ready version however unlike the Glock MOS the H&K mounting plate does not come with the pistol it must be ordered seperately.  There are 4 plates and plate #2 is Trijicon RMR, SRO and Holosun.
HK 50254262 Mounting Plate #2 HK VP9 w/Optic Cuts,...
Brand Hk
SKU 50254262
UPC 642230260016
(So to put a Trijicon RMR on an Optics Ready H&K VP9 not only do you have to have the gun and the optic but the Trijicon mounting kit https://www.swfa.com/trijicon-rmr-mounting-kit-for-glock-mos-models.html but you also have to have the H&K mounting plate
SKU 50254262
UPC 642230260016 which Chris said he will be ordering since some lucky person (Ted you need this) has the opportunity to buy https://www.swfa.com/heckler-koch-vp9-optics-ready-9mm-luger.html this currently in stock VP9 Optics Ready pistol with its NEW this year 17 round mags.  Note here last years mags for VP9 and P30 were 15 round but this year they are 17 round mags unless you must live with the 10 round mags required by libtards in some states.

So if you buy a Trijicon RMR you not only have to separately order the screws to mount it but also the plastic shim plate to protect its battery which loads from below. With he SRO you only need the screws.  The SRO battery loads from above and likely the next version of RMR should use that feature because it sucks to have to take your optic off to replace the  battery even if it is supposed to last 4 years. And it gets worse because you are supposed to blue locktite the screws in.   The down side of pistol optics with a round top is that one fall on a hard surface and its broken. The up side is they are easier to get onto target for competitive type shooting.
