Hello,
I have a curious Kahles ZF 84 with a very difficult to locate RF reticle. I could not find this reticle anywhere. I contacted Kahles and they identified the reticle as a 111 produced "soley for the US Army and for snipers.". Their description. The reticle looks like the outline of a tulip with hash marks. Any info on this scope/reticle? See photo http://imgur.com/h2MO4yG

It is a very nice scope. As far as the reticle goes, it is set-up for rangefinding based on width. It is calibrated for 168gr Gold Match 308 ammo, so that when your target (presumably shoulder width) fits between the curved lines, your holdover is accurate at that distance. It is a very quick way to go, but accounting for wind is a little harder.
I think 338LapuaSlap has experience with this reticle. I've only seen it in drawings. If you are going to mount the scope, keep in mind that you will need 26mm rings, not 1 inch. They are close, but not the same. ILya

Is the reticle non-centered on all ZF-84 scopes? Gerry Atric
