New member here looking for advice on some binos under $300 if possible. Any recommendations would be great. These will be used for hunting so low light gathering is a must. Thanks in advance for any help or guidance.

i own a couple sets sightron s2 blue sky 8x32. They are just under $200. They are fantastic binos. Especially for the $200 they cost.  I have the meopta 8x32 hd also to compare too.  The meoptas are better, but the sightrons do very well against them.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

"Hunting" is a pretty wide open term for specifying needs. Are you hunting open fields at dawn/dusk or heavy woods or something else entirely?

Freedom is something you take.
Respect is something you earn.
Equality is something you whine about not being given.

I actually hunt both. I hunt whitetail deer in Agricultural fields and also in wood bottoms. Looking for something in the 10x42 or 10x50. Read on some other places that a lot of people like the vortex diamond back Hd but I have never looked through a pair. I’ve spent $3000 on glass this year for my rifles and the wife will kill me if I spend over $300 on some binoculars right now..

Athlon Midas 8x42.   It is easily as good as the Vortex viper HD, far superior to the Diamondback.   It competes well with any $500 class bino made.   Beauty of it is, you can find it for $250 or so on (read rule #3.)

I would say that you need the porro prisms as soon as you hunt in the woods, but no. There is one excellent binos: Leupold Bx-2 Acadia Roof 8x42, it's about 300$. leupold is one the manufacturers which make binoculars on Abbe–Koenig prisms. "Such a prism is much more difficult in manufacturing so that binoculars with Abbe-Koenig prisms are more expensive. But the image quality is higher, so it’s worth it. Such binoculars are perfect for observation at low light" (https://lookforword.net/binoculars/roof-prisms/) , plus it's waterproof and had phase coated prisms (means high resolution). I think that the optic is highly important in hunting and if you need it, It's better to buy the best

My father has a pair of these binoculars and he never gives them to anybody hahaha! I'm a newbie in optics but looking on him I can assume that this stuff is really worthy for its money
