How many hunters I see that just pay no attention to the wind what so ever when they go hunting.
They sit upwind, they park upwind and walk in. They seem to believe a shooting house is air tight. Then wonder why they never see anything, or why all the deer are nocturnal.

We now have a couple generations who know nothing but "shooting house" hunting. Generally those have "almost" no woods skills. Upwind/downwind means nothing. If it doesn't walk in one of the windows it doesn't exist.
So what stirred this observation and post. Trying to teach someone who is unteachable??? |
