I mounted the recently acquired 2.5-10x32 SS rimfire on my heavy springer. I am very impressed so far, not having fired a round. The glass is really good and along with the reticle, I could have easily taken a shed raider at last light. I am looking forward to comparing it with a 1.5-8x32 Razor HD that I have on my .260.
I also mounted it in a BKL 260. I have the same mount on a Diana 350 Mag that hasn't moved, yet. The Webley Scott Patriot is in a different class, recoil wise, and will test both the scope and mount. Here is a few pics in the meantime. |

Very nice. I have the regular plex and BDC version of this scope. I have been thinking about picking up the rimfire one as well.

Looks great Doug! I wish the air gun manufacturers would dispense with the 11mm & 14mm receiver grooves and just D&T the receiver to accept a Pic rail or (Where receiver designs permit), integrally machine a Pic interface on top.

I have had a Beeman one piece base made by Sportsmatch out of the U.K. It has an integral cross pin designed for the machined in slots on the Webley Patriot. The pin has consistently jumped over the slot and scored my receiver.
The BKL only uses clamping force with no vertical or horizontal pins. I have had good luck with the BKL on my Diana. Looking forward to results on the Patriot.

I have now shot 200 H&N Baracuda's through it and the little scope is holding up on the Patriot. The rings haven't moved, either.
I have noticed that the "picture" gets blurry when I crank it up to 4X or so at close range. I am not so concerned as I don't need 10X at 5 yards since this isn't a bug hunting gun. Also, it may be a function of being a 2.5-10 as none of my other LPV's (1-4, 1.5-5) do that. Maybe someone here can provide some insight on this.
