As some of you fellas know I used to work at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, Pennsylvania. I can't believe it's been 12-13 years ago now. This is the park on Memorial Day. My last day on that job was on Memorial Day in 2008. At the end of the weekend my last shift was picking up on these flagpoles and putting them on a wagon for storage until next year. It took two hours to pick up hundreds of these poles all around the park after closing time. My buddy, Paul, and I weed-whacked 28,000 Memorial Plaques embedded in the ground all summer long. It would take us three weeks, eight hours a day. Then we started all over again. Later, we raked leaves for months. And did mowing. Whitemarsh Carrillon tower..... |

Cret turned this 1860s schoolhouse into a chapel at Whitemarsh Memorial Park....my buddy Paul and I used to mow all this lawn with mowers and weed-wackers and racked zillions of leaves all over this park. The big flat fields were mowed by tractors pulling flat mowers. |

^ Right at this very spot in the grass I mowed over a nest of yellow-jackets and got stung about 18 times in two seconds! |

My family and I are planning to move to Philadelphia, PA, soon, so I appreciate your photos of these beautiful places. I would be happy to see those places. I've already made some Pennsylvania friends I met on online lessons, and now I see these beautiful pictures. It reinforces my desire to move into our new home as soon as possible. By the way, I would love to meet someone from Philadelphia to go to church for Sunday services and picnics on the weekends. Please text me. I'd be delighted.

Some people may hold onto their religious beliefs, even when faced with criticisms from atheists. However, it is essential to note that not all believers may respond similarly. Some may take the complaints to heart and re-evaluate their beliefs, while others may ignore or reject them.

I can't do that, as I love God and my church (https://firstchurchlove.com). However, some individuals can hold religious beliefs while recognizing that some aspects of their religion may be flawed or problematic. |
