Just ordered a 708 in a savage 110 high country and i have a dilemma on the scope choice , i have it narrowed down to ...
 NX8 4-32x50 F1

Zeiss Conquest V6 5-30x50

I have a NX8 on a 68 already and i know what to expect but i was kind of think SFP for this hunting setup but cant very many reviews on the V6  . This will be a dedicated hunting rig out to about 400-600 yards but mostly 2-300 . SO anyone with both or at least the V6 can give me some feed back i would appreciate it.

I'd go with neither personally. Both are way too much scope for a dedicated hunting rifle in my experience. I've been a hardcore hunter for 40+ of my 53 years, have hunted all over the US in every kind of terrain imaginable, and I've never found the need for more than 10X for big game hunting. By backing down on top end magnification, you will get better optical performance, a lighter, more compact scope, and spend less money for equivalent quality. With so much magnification, FOV greatly suffers, and you often have a fair amount of "tunnel vision" on lower magnification settings as a penalty for the high zoom ratio. It's easy to get caught up in the "more is better" mindset, but in this case, more isn't better. I know today's trend in scopes is for 6:1, 8:1 and greater zoom ratios, so this leads to pretty high top end magnification. Personally, I don't want more than 3X on the low end and really don't care to have more than 10X on the high end of a variable scope. In the Conquest V6 line, I'd be o.k. with the 2-12X50 version provided there wasn't much tunneling on the low end of the zoom (I haven't spent any time behind that scope to confirm).

But, I'm old and crotchety I guess.
