I have not a fan of Sig optics. I had a ROmeo 4 a few years gao, and I was super less than impressed.... BUt, a few months ago, I came across this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-JoHdB3MxI&feature=emb_logo I saw the Sig Romeo 8T on this video. It was amazingly durable, large viewing window, metal shroud for protection, and it has a 10 year battery life. It lived up to the abuse it suffered in the video as we.... Right before I saw that video, I was considering whether to buy another Aimpoint Pro or another Mepro 21 reflex sight with the triangle reticle.. Well, in the end, I bought another Mepro 21 reflex sight optic (my 7th Mepro 21T)... Then, a week or two later... I saw this youtube video online. I had never heard of the Sig Romeo 8T before.... But, it impressed me, so I started looking into reviews. I didn't realize Sig even made any milspec optics. Well - there is one - the 8T. Anyway, I found a great sale on the Romeo 8T at EuroOptic, so I ordered one. I took a chance, but figured I could compare the Mepro 21 to the Romeo 8T, and just sell the one I didn't want... And, in the end, I have kept the Romeo 8T. This Romeo 8T is milspec, which is why I took a chance on it initially. And, the quality seems to be better than the other Sig optic models. Plus, the dot is clearer to my eyes than my last Aimpoint Micro was... Plus, the viewing window is larger on this Romeo 8T compared to an Aimpoint Micro. And, the Eotech-style reticle really got my attention (it has 4 different reticles - that is one of them). I am impressed with the optic. Sad to see that they are not more popular, but then again... Everyone seems to be going for the sub $200 red dots now. And, the 8T is not that cheap (cheaper than an Aimpoint Micro, though). Anyone else have one?

Ok, thanks. Wasn't aware of that. I was about to create a new profile yesterday... And, I discovered I already had one. Hadn't posted much, though....
