Welp, last night I had a huge crock pot of chicken breasts. With all the fixin's. Potatoes, carrots and onion on the bottom. Then I pour on some Worcestershire sauce, some hickory smoke salt, a bunch of garlic powder, and then bury it under a layer of black pepper. I cook my potatoes and carrots first for four hours so they'll get done.

Last night I also threw on a bag of Brussels sprouts because they can take time, too....

Then walk away...

Later, I mixed up My Secret MEAT RUB onto the chicken.

[Secret Rub: Everything but the kitchen sink....A pile of minced garlic, some Burman's Kansas City BBQ sauce, some Burman's Texas BBQ sauce, some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, some Stubb's powdered meat rub, some Arizona Dreaming powdered meat rub, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, basil, Louisiana Hot sauce, Tabasco, and two pounds of Black Pepper...]

I mixed up this goop in a bowl and dipped my chicken in it and then poured the rest over the meat.

Then I dumped in two cans of Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup, two cans of French-cut green beans, and two small cans of mushrooms, and powdered the mushrooms with my can of pepper....

Three more hours on HIGH....

OMG!!!!

That sounds delicious, just like the Army food I ate in the 1980s. Except it was mostly chicken feet, onions, and potatoes. And it was cooked in a cauldron mounted on a field army trailer, burning old boots as fuel. The sweet smoke of burning boots added an unforgettable savoryness  Plenty of salt, pepper, and chilies, just like yours. Mmmm...
