Am going to buy Swarvoski PH or Zeiss VM/V 3x12x50 scope for Weatherby rifles-- a Mark V in 257 magnum and a Vanguard in 270 Win. Would like to use detachable mounts so I can interchange new scope with present Leupold scopes. I will appreciate any comments on the feasibility of doing this. Many thanks for any thoughts.

Not trying to second guess Chris on this one, but I wuld double check that one. The Leupold QR would leave no room for error in ring spacing and I would think Talley would be the same due to the recoil shoulders on the bases.
