**UPDATE 3/10**

RIFLE HAS SOLD PENDING FUNDS

Thanks

I have decided that I will separate the scope from rifle.  Here's the breakdown:
Rifle Only with picatinny base--$465 shipped
Rifle, picatinny base + Redding .223 Competition Seating die and original stock--$505 shipped

I just put some $$ down on a custom rifle so I have to sell a couple of my best to finance the project.  Heres the first offering (the other one is in it's own topic):

SAVAGE 12FV IN .223 REMINGTON w/AccuTrigger
--removed factory stock, now wears black B&C Duramaxx;
--free floated barrel from stock;
--removed factory bolt, upgraded to Stockade Gun Works tactical bolt knob;
--26" factory barrel, less than 600rds

This is a very accurate rifle.  I started to reload for it until I found out that it likes 75gr. Black Hills Remanufactured ammo (2 pics of targets shot @ 100yds with this ammo below).  I have an unopened box of Lapua brass that I'll include if you want to reload.  Based on my testing, the best reloads were with BL-C(2) powder and 69gr. & 75gr. SMK and AMAX.

The optics is a Meopta Meostar 4x16 44mm AO with mil dot reticle.  I bought the scope new the week of January 21, 2007 and it is mounted atop a Warne Tactical one piece picatinny base and Burris Xtreme 30mm rings.  I bought the scope for target & varmint hunting and it is perfect for those applications.  The glass is extremely clear & bright and the color resolution is outstanding.  I put the tracking through a complete box test and the adjustments are very accurate.  I liken the scope to the glass used in IOR 35mm tactical models.

The rifle is very clean and in great shape.  I gave the rifle a "once over" and can't find any cosmetic or mechanical defects.  I wouldn't be selling the rifle if it weren't for my upcoming purchase.

So, included in the deal is the rifle, Meopta scope with base & rings, and a brand new box of 100 Lapua .223 brass.  Price for everything is $995 shipped . IF YOU BUY THE WHOLE SETUP I'LL THROW IN A REDDING COMPETITION SEATING DIE IN .223 AND THE ORIGINAL STOCK!  I'm also not looking for trades at this time.

Thanks for looking and please contact me @ ceylonc@hotmail.com if you have any questions.  If you want to do a face to face, I'm in Memphis, TN.  If out of state, need FFL for shipping.
