I wouldn't go quite that far, but it is getting there.  With our wonderfully sweet senators: Boxer and Feinstein, noone knows what'll happen.  I once had a chance to talk to Feinstein.  I believe she is a smart woman, unlike Boxer who is plain stupid.  Feinstein is smart; evil, certainly, but smart.  Considering all the fiscal problems that California has been having, you'd think that people would just stop and think for a moment: what the heck are we doing wrong?  But no, thinking these days is not politically correct.  We just assume that our mighty governor is going to do that for us.  Well our governator is actually is remarkably shrewd man who is capable of solving pretty complex problems.  Sadly, he is saddled with a "politburo" aka California legislature.  Until we realize that the ultra-liberal legislature is the root of Californian problems, California will slowly, but surely fall into fascism.

Maybe I should just move to Oregon.

P.S. Unofficially of course, but there are lot more beautiful women in Russia than in California.  Than again my wife is Israeli.  Can you belive it: I've been married for 3 days already, and I still have not had to sell any guns.  I might actually get to keep them all.

never knew whether he was a republican, or not, i assumed he was, but i would have never assumed he was anti-gun. look at all his movies with guns in them.

If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns, I'll be only one of millions!!!

Arnold is a Republican, but he is a very left wing Republican.  Unfortunately, he's always been rather firmly anti-gun.  He generally, avoids talking about the issue, but there is enough evidence out there.

I find it so ironic that the personages that can afford to live in gated compounds, bullet proof the walls and windows of their houses, surround themselves with body guards, and drive around in FULLY ARMOURED suv's are often so adament about removing the average citizen's right to defend themselves...

Many congression scholars have come to understand that the second ammendment intends to give the citizen the rights to:

1. Posess arms to protect themselves (collectively) from foreign interlopers or invaders.
2. Posess arms to protect themselves (collectively) from a tyranical domestic government.
3. Posess arms to protect themselves from personal deady threat.
4. Organize into groups that can be equiped and trained to realize and re-inforced the above 3.

It never said anything about guarenteeing the right to posess arms for hunting because at the time it would have been like guaranteeing the individual the right to grow crops. ( After all, are we not mandated by the bible to nurture and live off the fruits of the earth?) At the time, on this continent, hunting was as common as going to the supermarket is today.

Its almost comical that as a counter event to the Republican convention a bunch of liberal "humanitarian" (not to mention wealthy) actors have gotten together to "read out loud" and discuss the Constitution of the United States in NYC... to high paying tickets holders of course. I'm guessing that they either graze over or ignore the Bill of Rights and especially the 2nd Ammendant.

Personally, if I lived behind a shield of armour and 24/7 body guards I probably wouldn't have a 45 "cocked and locked" and sitting on the nitestand.... but I'd hope that I'd remember that there are others out there not as fortunate and secure.

After freedom of religion, freedom of speach, freedom of the press, freedom to assemble, and the freedom to petition.... the Second Ammendment SOLEY addresses the right to keep and bear arms. It is how we the people are given the right and ability to enforce the 1st Ammendant and all proceding 25 other ammendments.

Remember.... The more currupt and greedy a government gets, the higher it's priority to disarm its citizens.

Forgive me for "preaching to the choir".
