www.reloadernest.com click rifle then scroll down to 300winmag and then click nosler accubond not a real in depth guide but a place to start, personally i would use load data for any other 180gr .308 for the accubond. i use 4831 in my 300win and reloader19 in my 300wsm both shoot 180 grain sierra prohunters deadly for elk the one pictured as my avatar was a bull my dad shot last fall with the 300winmag

Hello.
I had my best luck with a 180gr. bullet using IMR 4350 in a Sako .300 Win Mag. LOTS 'O' people's rifles prefer RL 22, but mine sure didn't.
Yes, reloaders nest is a good place to check out.
BE SURE YOU look at a manual or cross check that data you find on that site. |

i dont know how big of a hurry you are in but in june or july noslers newest reloading manual is coming out it should be the best source of info since it would be for there bullets the nosler web site has some info but i think you have to join some sort of club to see all loads they provide

good question, i was talking to that friend of mine that loves the 6.5's and the load he was using in his 6.5 rem mag was more than published max in my books and he had went a lot higher than the load he settled on but i guess they have to worry about cya in today's world

This is true and unfortunate. I even have regular hunters I know telling me my hand loads are inferior to present factory fodder..................and the cow jumped over the moon

I would add to the chrono, keeping an eye out for flattened primers and the white ring around the bottom of the case. I know most people around here know, just in case for the inexperienced, though.

in my remmy bolt gun. 74.4 grain of H4831sc with a sierra gameking 180's....... shots really nice 2970fps
75.5 grains of H4831SC with a nosler ballistic (green) or a hornaday sst 180's Thses have been really acurate. 3015 fps
i loaded 150 of each load and all were shot with great results.I put some high money factory ammo in it after and they was everywhere on the target after i was placeing shots in a 1 1/2 @150 yards.

Pyro, I thought it was pretty good.I still have some work to do with the gun (shave the stock under the barrel) and do something to make the trigger a little lighter ,but i'm hopeing i can get it a little better.
