i was wondering if anyone had access to the hornady factory load data for a .270 win using the hornady light magnum loads.

Here is some info on the 140gr. It offers over 150fps more than the standard load

im sorry i guess i should have clairfied, i was looking for powder charge weights and type but rifledude informed my that its a special in house powder that the public cant buy so i dont know how i would reload that load for my buddy

DOH, I should have known better, P.
It's too bad we can't get those powders, maybe someday. I have looked at the half dozen manuals I have and see that breaking 3000fps takes max loads. Maybe some of the folks around here using some of the newer powders can chime in with some numbers.
I would imagine you have bucket loads of 4831. It won't get him 3100 fps but I doubt a deer will know a 100fps difference.

i found a load in my 2nd ed. lee manual that will get me almost 3250 its not for me its for a buddy of mine i dont care for .277 anything

130gr 3234fps with 65gr of acc mag pro compressed load, its intresting this book has zero 140 gr loads over 300 fps but you step up to the 150's and there are 2 loads over 3000 fps
