Selling and trading muzzleloaders does not seem to work the same as it does with cartridge guns, most dealers wont take them in trade for fear that someone has done something to them like put too heavy a charge in them or failed to put grease on the breach plug. 45 cal is a hard sell most guys want .50 cal because it is so much easier to find stuff for the 50. Guys savy enough to be shopping on line likely know what model and brand they are after. I would troll it around to some of your friends and ask them if they know anyone who might want it or most likely I would try to work a trade at a gunshow or gunshop that sells muzzleloaders. In any case I think it will be hard to get money out of it because the muzzleloader technology has changed radically over the last 4 or 5 years and in line systems are what everyone wants but in a break open design rather than a bolt because it is so much easier to clean them. Also this type fouls the under side of the scope badly so if you do shoot it think cheap scope or put camo tape on the scope to protect it from flame by the primer, Good Luck.
