Barska 8-32x50 - I thought it would be easy, I'm wrong. My scope has a Mil Dot with thick hair on the sides top and bottom, then thins out when it gets to the mil dot. The instructions has nothing for Mil Dot. What it does say, The point to distance of a 30/30 reticle is equal to 30 inches at 100 yards. QUESTION: what part of the cross hairs are they talking about? |

Wrong directions I think. A 30-30 reticle is a different animal. I would recommend taking a target and marking off 36 inches place the target at 100 yrds then set your scopes power until you read 10 moa at 36 inches. From post to cross should be 18 inches, post to post should be 36 inches or 10 moa. Then you'll know at what power the reticle is scaled.
