I found the Vaetrex under clothes for about 110.00 each top/bottom at northern's site.

Ya may want to look at some of the gloves, neck and head gear.  They also have poncho liners on sale which if I were setting a blind all day might make a lot of scence for the money. Bandito

the only thing that sucks about those boots is that they are heavy to wear, so if its a long walk to the stand you will hate them for that but they are so warm if you sit all day you will love them.

You need a back pack to carry the parka and probably other top layers.  When I'm walking, I have on very few layers or I will sweat and then get cold when I hit the stand.
I go with synthetic polar weight long johns - top and bottom.
Then a quality fleese jacket.  Thats all I wear walking down to about 0 deg.  Then at the stand, I add a fleese vest (no sleeves helps mobility), another fleese vest, and then the Parka.  Can go 0, 1, or 2 vests depending on temp, but alwaays use the coat.  Helps keep air out.
As far as bottom is concerned.  Again, the polar long johns and insulated bibs.  That is all I need on the botton to several below.
Bottom line: Synthetic layers and keep air from your body.
Oh ya, and all ya got for them feets..

I ordered the Arctic Shield H3 Bib and Parka combo set for 199.99 delivered.
The cabelas I am going to saturday does not have Arctic Shield stuff in stock.

I am not buying the boots, way to heavy for me. I will take my boots off, put on some
Gor-tex army liners, then wool socks and then put my feet in the boot blankets with a grabber mega warmer.
