I have an older Burris that is showing signs of moisture internally and considering repurging with Nitrogen. I have experience in doing this with instruments and easier than it sounds but not sure how scopes even come apart. They might be pressed where disassembly would destroy them. Not sure.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

From what I gather so far, the finish ring on the front end of the scope needs removed, the lens removed, slide the erector tube out but possible minimize or even remove the turret adjusters to reduce spring tension against the erector tube. I am not not yet sure if the erector tube actually is sealed from the main tube or not but I would assume not so everything can be purged at the same time. It may also be that and adjuster holes/slots in the erector tube would make this an open element anyway.
