Ok first i apologize for even asking this question but i haven't been on in a while and now for the first time in a while am ready to make a purchase! Looking for some new glass going on a 7mm RUM. Trying to keep it in the ballpark of 500$ using it nearly exclusively for hunting so low light conditions are key etc.. Also any mounting recommendations being the caliber provides a pretty good thump. It used to be i that price range the Zeiss Conquest but from what i read but they're hard to come by these days. Thanks in advance i know this question is pretty common.

For great low light usage, I'd be searching for a Trijicon Accupoint. Keep an eye on the Sample List here for great deals on trade-ins, refirbs and discontinued models. Get the best glass you can afford (along with a functional reticle). Good luck in your search. Super

Thanks for the responses. Are the Trijicon worth the extra $$$? Anyone??

I used Warne mounts and rings on my 300 WBY mag.

For low light conditions most definitely yes.

The trijicon is solid advice. Mounted up in a set of talley's, you'd be good to go.

I have had a Trijicon Accupoint 3-9 X 40 (with the green triangle) for several years. It has been 100% reliable.
