First post here.  Have used this sight for info info in the past.

 

I am getting ready to put some glass on a JP 15 223 rifle.  I am considering the Bushnell 6.5X24 tactical.  Does anyone know if I can mount this scope with standard type rings or do I need to pick up a Larue mount.

Its a custom JP enterprises  AR 15 20"heavy barrel.  I currently use it for 3 gun competition with a 1-3 Leupold CQT.  With my hand loads I am getting 2 1/2 inch groups at 300 yards.  I know with a better reticle in a scope and some more power I can make it shoot out to 600 for PD or other varmits.  Just wondering what kind of a mounting set up I might be looking at.

Ah yes....JP Enterprises...I heard of them.

 

(I wondered about that once I posted that.)

 

No FSB, I assume.

I'd go with rings then. How about Burris Tactical X High??
