My computer is screwed up. Yesterday, all of a sudden, it just made a Blip all by itself ( Like when you refresh a page...) and now my screen and pictures are all stretched out and distorted!  For no reason!  What do I do to make this computer go back to the way it was?

I cannot do system restore because I don't know where the Instruction Manual for Computer Help is located....years ago I had a computer that had that stuff on my toolbar....but, I have no idea where all that stuff is on this computer.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Sounds like a resolution issue.  What operating system are you using?
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

So on win 8, right click somewhere on desktop.  Should bring up a menu.  One of the options is screen resolution.  Click on that.  Then see what your resolution says it is set at.  Not sure what monitor you have so I am not sure what setting it should be on, but you can change it around a bit and see if you can find one that works.
