When I was on the floor at Ford Dearborn Tool and Die, we used to do a lot of what we called "government" work. My friend and journeyman Jack Parry made this knife for me out of D2 with cocobolo. I still have D2 and S7 blades rough cut to shape with cocobolo blanks.....maybe some day.

I have had this knife as a safe queen for years. Another friend has http://www.wolf-lodge-traders.com/catalog.htm and just made me this Mexican style sheath this past week. George is also modeling many of the pictures of the clothes his wife makes.

Very nice, Doug. I'm digging the sheath too.

I really like the sheath. That would be a cool attachment on a hunting saddle.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

D2 is a very good steel for knife blades and that blade is a beauty.Coco bola wood also has a very sweet look to it.
