Looking for ideas 💡 on reactive targets . I use balloons for the kids and wife now . But those are only good in the shade . I've done the water jugs and of course tannerite . Then the sticky circles . Steel is preferred but I can only buy one silhouette coming up . So looking for cool ideals . Thank you and oh how could I forget I've murderderd many fruits lol .

Take an old car wheel and some 5000 concrete and some kind of fairly heavy wire mesh and you will have some pretty tough targets that will last, show hits and are easy to rebuild.

Lay some plastic in it to stop the holes.

Pick up some Quikrete from Lowes or where ever you can find it ($6.00+/-).

Mix about half a 5 gallon bucket and pour half in the wheel.

Having already cut out some mesh about an inch smaller than the wheel diameter, drop it on the concrete and pour the rest in.

Level it by bumping the wheel with a hammer or what ever until you are satisfied with the look. Let it cure a couple days and it is ready.

I usually leave it down in the wheel about an inch from the top to catch some of the lead spray and debris. Depending on the wheel size you can get 2 or 3 targets from a bag and if you want you can mix a little sand in to make it a tad harder. They are a bit heavy but they are cheep and there is no doubt when you hit it. Don't have one handy to offer a pic but you get the idea.

Good luck! Good shootin!!

Take care of Soldiers, Show em how its done and do it with em, Run to the Fight & and hold your ground! I die my men go home! If you're a NCO and this ain't you. GET OUT! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Depending on what you have for a back stop, I like using a tennis ball with an I bolt in it. Then about 2 to 3 feet of rope tied to a stake in the ground. And for a more challenging target use a golf ball instead of the tennis ball.

Watermelons are gratifying, and deer love them, so they tend to come out even after shooting in the area.

These are good for kids at modest distances since they can approximate vitals and you know when you hit them.

Equality is something you whine about not being given.
