Hi,
This is my first post around here. I just bought my first rimfire, a Brazilian made bolt action made by Imbel (itajuba) industries. Mine is kind of old but in very good shape. I'll post a topic with pictures later. The last owner had a gunsmith fit a picatinny so he can use a scope. I want to shoot silhouette, pigeons and lake rats with mine at 50 and over 100 yards (I use meters but it is almost the same). The gun has some reputation on its precision and it is out of production now. I did some research and read a lot of topics on which scope to buy. I read some recommendation topics and already contacted some stores that would sell to a foreigner traveling to USA. Unfortunately SWFA can't accept International CC, but lucky me, competitor will sell the scope, bag and some holsters for my duty pistol. I want to stay under $150 but I'm willing to pay a little more for greater quality that could really improve shooting. Please let me know your opinions, marking what the best bang is for my buck or any other suggestion. Please remember that I cannot try the scopes first and also that I cannot make a bad purchase since any of these scopes would cost 4 times more in Brazil. - Millett 3.5-10x50 Buck Gold Riflescope Medium Plex Reticle Matte Finished $110 - Sightron SI 3-9X40mm Riflescope Duplex Reticle $110 - Sightron SI 3-9X40mm Riflescope Mil Dot Reticle $119 - Bushnell Legend 4-12x40 Riflescope Multi-X Reticle Matte $120 - Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40 Riflescope Multi-X Reticle Matte $140 - Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40 Riflescope Nikoplex Reticle Matte $140 - Vortex Crossfire 4-12x40 AO Riflescope $150 (I found this at the opticzone.com) - Bushnell Elite 3200 10X40 Target Turret Riflescope Mil-Dot Reticle Matte $150 -Blemished 3-9x38 Burris Fullfield Riflescope Plex Reticle Gloss $170 -Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 Riflescope Ballistic Plex Reticle Matte w/Free eTrex GPS $170 ( I don't need a GPS but it is free anyway) - Weaver 2-10X38 Classic V-10 Riflescope Dual-X Reticle Matte $170 - Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 Riflescope Plex Reticle Matte $180 Thanks in advance. |

Were it me I would use the Weaver, followed by the 3-9 Bushnell 3200. SWFA doesn't ship outside the U.S. so that may be a determining factor for you as a lot of other places don't either. When you find someone willing to ship to Brazil, see what they have as we can help you get the best of what they have. Happy shooting. |

thanks for your reply,
actually I'll be in USA in March, when I'll order everything and carry within my luggage back to Brazil.
