I have purchased several of these scopes both pistol and rifle, ranging from 22 rifles to 308 and thompson contender pistol from 17 hmr through 7-30 waters and 44 mag with no problems, optics are clear, click adjustment are sharp and responsive. The side parrelex objective works great on the scopes that have them with the optics remaining clear through all the powers. My uderstanding is that the importer is bringing them in from Eastern Europe where he and his wife have family connections. No where on the scope or the boxes does it say made in China, and from my understanding of the agreements the US has with China all items imported from China must be so marked. I have in the past purchased some of the different Chineese scope to try them out and the optics are no where as clear and they were not something I would buy again. Of the 18 scopes that my brother and I have purchased from them I have had only one problem (factory defect) and that scope was promptly replaced with a better grade scope. I noticed that some of the reviews appeared to have been made by people with no personnel experience with the scopes. To me they are a good value for the money and I do recommend them to my friends, and have had several friends buy them from IJK optics after checking out the ones mounted on my guns.

Eagle Eye ? IJK scopes I have seen are most definitely made in China. Whoever told you that they are not was lying.
The importer tells a variety of stories about these scopes alternatively saying that he either brings them in from Slovakia or get the glass from Slovakia and assembles the scopes in China. He is lying in both cases. These scopes have never been on the same continent with Slovakia. ILya

This is a dead thread, but if anyone is interested, A local man (So.West Indiana) has given me three optics from IJK to test and review before he starts carrying the line in his gun show displays.
I'm former Military, I'm a long range competition rifle shooter, and I do testing in controlled environments, including up to destructive testing to the point of failure. Product design & testing is what I do for a living... I've already told the customer the optics will have to survive a paint shaker if that gives you any idea of what is about to take place... Just for the record, The optics are made in eastern Europe, not China. |

From what I have seen of the IJK line at gun shows, and from ILya history of giving non-biased info, I am pretty sure that the scopes are pure Chinese junk!

I have a simple rule of thumb I follow concerning optics just such as these that has probably saved me thousands of dollars and god only knows how many headaches.... If Ilya never heard of it, or thinks it's junk, then Tony doesn't buy it. simple as that.

Purchased a IJK 2 to 6 scope with lighted reticle and rails. had to send the first one back because of poor instructions from seller. The cross hairs on the second one are not square with the base. When mounted I would have to twist the rifle to square the sight.
I am not going to bother to call back because I know there will be no resolution on their end. I will chaulk it up to experience. Don't waste your money

I am not a sniper,or commando or a self proclaimed arm chair know it all, just a regular outdoorsman who loves to shoot!! In defense of jrka and eagle eye optics i can say i purchased a-2x4x28 tactical scope from them years ago and the scope has se rved me just fine ! It has sat on my atv for ithe last 5,500 miles and holds a zero just as well now as when i first puchased it!! I would definately buy another..

This is pretty funny, but there's an older Eagle Eye Optics thread that was EPIC! We had a little bit of everything in that one!
It was a real knee slapper....

There is a guy that sells Eagle Eye stuff at all the local gunshows in south Al and Ms. I;ve looked at them several times and come to the same conclusion - junk.
They are not clear, and you can test by asking to compare one with a Nikon or Leupy someone else has for sale. If you compare, you can also tell the zoom factor is not on equal ground as well. I don't know about the longevity, it doesn't matter at this point to me.

These optics aren't junk and function very well within their respective price point. I have one of their scopes on a 300 Win Mag. The optic has kept its zero without any issue and their customer support is outstanding. I am a competitive shooter and on my competition rifles I use a Schmidt and Bender PMII for precision rifle competition and March Optics for service rifle competition. You CANNOT fairly compare an IJK optics scope to either a S&B or a March Optics service rifle scope. There are literally thousands of dollars in price difference. If you are looking for a good scope that won't break the bank, IJK would be a great brand to consider. I've looked through just about every major high end scope on the market (Vortex, Leupold, Bushnell, S&B, Nightforce, US Optics, and March). It isn't fair to compare them to the high end price point, but if you compare IJK to a vortex or bushnell in the same class/price point, I'm confident the IJK would perform as good if not better. I recommend giving IJK a shot. Just my opinion.

It has been my experience with optics... Especially within the rifle scope area of the scientific discipline, that one gets (usually) what one pays for. In cheaper scopes you either give up glass or coatings quality for dependability, or you give up dependability for glass or coatings quality. Some inexpensive options are definitely out there, but not at bargain basement price points.

Somebody decided to resurrect an old thread, not you Cyborg. After reading this thread I had to go check out their website. I am definitely sold, buy a scope and a hand painted glass dragon at the same time. Think I will stick with a known brand.
