This is a Green Label Colt Carbine purchased around 1992 that I'd like to add to my collection, does it look like a large or small pin Colt to you?

Looks like the large one to me, Sam.
I think the front pin is .250 and .170 for the fire control pin in the rear.

The problem is that Colt has produced non-mil-spec pins at various times for both the takedown pins/screws and for the two pins that hold the fire control group in the lower receiver.
I can't keep track of all that corporate stupidity, so I linked you up with what looks to be a good source of study.
The (.170) pin that Mark is referring to is technically not a fire-control pin, but is rather the rear takedown pin near the stock.  The fire-control pins are the two directly above the trigger about an inch (?) apart.

Thanks guys that's what I figured, most Colts of that vintage were large pin rifles.
