I posted earlier about a pair of Zeiss victory compacts, and Iv'e taken a look at other look at compacts between 4-800 dollars, and i was interested to see your thoughts on:
1)Leica Ultravid
2)Swarovski Compacts
3)Leica Trinovid
4)Zeiss Conquest

Im taking best for price into consideration, but I will buy the right one.
Im looking at all of em in the 8x20 size class.

Thanks

Leicaman:
I would recommend the Trinovid, price is right and for many you will see just as well as with the others.  In these compacts remember you are limited in some ways by the small size.  I had an 8x20 Trinovid, but found I didn't use them much, so sold them for
a larger glass.

A nice 8x32 is light and compact, and will get a lot more use.

I love my 8x20 trinovid, I always bring them and therefore I have them with me when the unexpected bird appear. The image is great and they are small! can be in a pocket, unlike a 8x32

I keep my Leica compacts in my brief case just in case I need a closer look at something... They are fantastic! You'll never be sorry when you buy the best.  NV Hunter

Hi leicaman;
For me both Leica and Zeiss compact are outstanding. But don't overlook Steiner.
One other thing I may add is thats all Steiner makes.
O I have all [3]
