Been reading alot of the topics on binos, and am about ready to take the plunge into a really good binocular. between the three, can anyone pick, or rank these, as , like most others, this will be a MAJOR investment for me.I am looking at the 10x42 size/models......Thanks for any help, and glad to find people that know about optics....rsbhunter (models...leica ultravid, zeiss FL, and swarovski el or slc )

I would flip a coin between the Leica and Zeiss.  Both are superior to ths Swaro.  If you really cornered me I would probably get the Leica.

Since all three are fine binos, why not find a dealer where you can test them all side-by-side and then decide. Go towards the end of the day when shadows begin to get long and see which pair transmits the best to your eyes. Check out the ergonomics, too. Don't rely totally on some guy's advice. Try for yourself and read the reviews at www.betterviewdesired. Good luck and congratulations that you can afford top-of-the-line optics. You might also try HuntAmerica.com optics forum. It seems to me that they just had this discussion. Lots of experts there, too....

Zeiss Victory FL or Leica Ultravid? Hmmm you really can't go wrong with either one.
