Leupold 2x7 - Rifleman Shotgun vs. VXI Shotgun?

I just got an 20 gauge H&R Ultra Slug Hunter Compact shotgun for my wife and I'm trying to decide between a Leupold 2x7 - Rifleman Shotgun scope or a Leupold VXI Shotgun scope in a 2-7 or even a 1-4?

Any advice would be appreciated -- not sure what the differences would be -- pricing is all about the same ($199 to about $209). I'm sure either would fit the bill nicely - just curious what the differences or +'s/-'s would be between the models.

between the two you listed the vxI is a little better optically, maybe you should look at the special prices on the vortex viper right now, they have a 2x7 on sale and its a superb scope.

As far as I know, the difference between the Rifleman and the VX-I is the lens coatings.
I would go with the VX-I over the Rifleman for the better coatings, and I'd go with the 2-7 over the 1-4 for the larger objective lens.

In your price range , I have  3200 2-7 Elite on a couple slug guns -- they work great , Better glass than the VX-1 , and rainguard is a great feature .. Or the Vortex on sale
