I bought a used Vari-X II 2x7x33 at a gun show for $150 and put it on a AR15 riser that I milled down into a cantilevered 91/30 Mosin Nagant mount.
The scope was stressed. It was on a diving board on a hard kicking rifle. The power ring got loose and the image jumped around 10moa when I moved the power ring. I sent it back to Leupold and two weeks later they sent me a new in the box VX-I 2x7x33. They look like the same thing, are they the same thing? Are the new ones made in the USA? TIA Clark |

Be glad you bought a loopie, had it been a $1000+ euro scope you would have gotten a repair bill (in 6 months)
And yes today's VX I is yesterday's VX II. You can call Leupold they'll explain that to you. |
