Who is using one?

I was wanting a Burris 3x-12x for my newly purchased 7-30 Waters Contender barrel, 14" with tamer.  Seems like the well went dry on the Burris availability....    So, I'm thinking the Leupold VX-III 2.5x-8x is the next choice in higher power and clean/bright optics.

Your thoughts...
Thank you,
kent

I have that barrel but mine doesn't have the muzzle tamer. I have a Thompson Center 2.5-7X28 on mine. It's a good combo, the scope and the barrel. I'm not sure who makes Thompson Centers scopes for them. They are Japanese made is all I can tell you. I had this one on a 45-70 barrel and it held up fine on there.
