I'm strongly considering a VX6 HD with TMOA reticle. Being so new, I can't seem to find any info on the HD scopes. Does the entire red  part of the reticle illuminate? Anyone know the thickness on 12X at 100 yards? What is a twin bias erector system, and is it any better than, or maybe just the same as what they had previously? Leupold does seem good at advertising. They seem to talk up normal practices as if they are new and ground breaking. I do like that it has a water resistant lens coating.

Do you think it would be a good choice on a light weight 5.5 lb Forbes? I had about decided on the Z5 with turret and 4w reticle but this seems to be only one ounce more and I like the illumination and 2X for close shots. I wish it had a parallax adjustment at the same weight.
