Anybody use the Luepy Mark 4 Tactical Binos with TMR or Mildot ranging reticle?
How are they for ranging and quality?

I'm pretty sure that is what the spotter uses with the M24 sniper system. I like TMR reticle better than Mildot but I think MP8 is nice and Horus and Zeiss Z1000 are way helpful. The thing is the glass is going to be the type in the Leupold Mk 4 scopes not better. If you really need good glass for a spotter I'm thinking Swarovski. I have a spotting scope from Burris and at 100 yds it's nice but at 200 its a challenge and at 300 its worthless as far as seeing bullet holes. Do you really need to range with the spotting scope? I think a 1200 yd lelica rangefinder would be better at least until the batteries went. Ranging with mildots is a learned talent or an exercise in the use of a mildot master. |
