I've tried searching, but can't seem to locate any info.

Anyhoo,  I have the SWFA SS 5-20x.  I love itExcellent.  My only gripe is that the parallax knob is a little hard to turn.  I have to get off the scope, and grab a fist grip to adjust.  Is there anyway to lighten  this up?  Is removing the cap advisable?  I haven't tried yet.  I've had the scope a good 6months, and figured it would lighten up, but know luck yet.

Thanks,
Marty

I would not advise any dis-assembly, I would advise you call SWFA on Monday. Mine was a bit stiff when I got it, but after a evening in the easy-chair moving it stop to stop, it's fine. But if yours is still giving you problems, call SWFA.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

Same experience as Billy here,  Just took some twisting and it loosened up,
