Is there a super huge differnce on the Meostar 10x42HD and then the standard Meostar 10x42.
I can get the standart Meostar 10x42 for close to half the price from what the Hd cost. But then again I want some of the best because I plan to keep them as long as possible. So I want to spend the extra for the HD, but only if the optical difference is noticable. |

The Meostar HD is more neutral in color (The standard Meostar has a yellow bias), and controls chromatic aberration much better.
For the long haul, go ahead and spring for the HD. Both are suitably durable for a long life of use.
