I have for sale a Model 70 featherweight. It is a post 64 action, made at the new haven connecticut plant. Rifle is in really good condition with some bluing loss on the muzzle. All functionality is perfect, chambered in .270 winchester. If you are looking for a great looking lightweight hunting rifle, this is it.
Price Drop to 450

I had a 270 exactly like that, I shot more deer and elk with it than any rifle I have including my 7mm-mag... I was short on money one time and hocked it to a guy i knew. Asked him to hold it for me, till I could get back on my feet. I sold him a old 94 30-30 S&W 22 pistol and some others... When I went back to get them, the PIG had trashed the guns just from taking them hunting.. I told him it might be a god idea to just keep them all, except I got the pistol back as it was stainless steel.. I cannot believe the way some people treat there stuff.....I do not get it.! The SOB, I hope someone wacks his Pee Pee

Damn!! I need a .243 for my daughter right now (unfortunately not a .270), I've been seriously leaning towards a Winchester featherweight too.

To be honest as much as I've been looking the past few months, I can't afford anything right now (hopefully sometime before July... one month before the season opener). Edited by mike650 - January/18/2011 at 14:29 |
