I've obtained an older Leupold BR 36X scope and am confused by the adjustable objective feature on it.  All of the previous Leupold AO scopes I've owned have had the yardage markings on the turning component, with a mark on the scope tube to use to line up the various yardages.  On this BR 36X, there are two rings of yardage markers, and that's what I'm finding confusing.  Here's a picture of the objective bell and AO adjusting ring.  I'm tempted to think that you need to line up the two ranges--one on the turning ring and the other on the scope tube, as I have in the picture with the two 100-yd. markings lined up with each other.  But maybe I'm missing something here (happens frequentlyConfused).  Can someone familiar with the Leupold BR scopes help me out here?

Thanks in advance.

I took a look at my 3.5-10x50 EFR. Mine only has the infinity mark and I line up on that with the yardage mark. I'm not  sure on yours but you could set up on a known range, say 100 yards, and then adjust between the infinity and 100 yard marks and see the results.
I hope somebody can came along with a better answer.

When in doubt ask the guys who build them.  I have never owned this model.
