My Monarch 6.5-20 44mm UCC arrived today ... from SWFA .  My wife said I acted like another new baby was just born . Shocked  In fact she thought I drooled over it more than I had ever for anything else  ....  LOL .    The more me and my buddies looked her over and checked out all the features you could hear that  " SWEEEEET " . Man am I glad I bought it from here .... puts all my other scopes and alot of theirs to shame .... about every knob and whistle available ... the option of the different knobs and the dual IR ... plus "CLEAR " ain't the word as they say . Have to go shopping for the rest of addons now ... wanted to make sure she got here first ....  we were all extremely impressed so far .

Great bro, hope it serves you for many years. Yes, we may be grown up, but a new toy is allways sooooo nice.....
I am afraid I am the same, talk about my expected new arrival untill the family is sick of it, and when it arrives, hey man, I enter my second childhood.
So enjoy it.
And any new baby deserves to have its picture taken and posted on the web.

Congrats on the new toy.  Don't forget to post your observations after using it for a while.

Have all the components ... ordered a sunshade and butler flip ups last night . Am going to mount it tonight . Will be taking it out to my buddy's range this weekend . Have got to get setup on that site to DL pics here ... think it was called photobucket . Yea she sure looks good .... I don't mean pretty .... but yet it is a good looking scope . Will get back to you guys a soon as I have some specs to report . With 13 grandchildren and 4 sons new human babies are more common to me than a new toy. The rectile impressed me because it's not oversized dots on the mil-dot and it has nice large crosshair bars leading to it in the center . The illumination in no way floods light in the objective whatsoever . Crisp and clear at high setting . Believe me I'll put her through the paces ... I use my firearms ... they don't sit in a cabinet 99 % of the time . 8shots ... will get some pics later and post them . Evertime I look at your avatar and see South Africa I get a whole bunch of jealous ...  man you live in what I consider heaven .... most of us only dream of hunting there !

Fantastic, let us know how it works out!  I am sure it will be great.  I just got a new Weaver V-9 in today, not quite as nice as yours, but I am just excited, so I know how you feel.

I agree.

I'm not a big lit reticle guy, especially on less expensive scopes, but I was pleasantly surprised with how good the Monarch's illuminated reticle worked. Very good scope.

My new Monarch has a side focus and I look like a monkey fornicating with a football as I correct parallax. I'm a lefty and do a right handed reach over with a side focus. Roll%20Eyes
My shooting partner said it looked "painful" when he watched me.  Bucky

I showed my sons and their buddies how the IR shows great in darker highly shaded areas ... especially when regular grey C Hairs seem to blend in . What's good is you just leave her off if wanted and the choice of red or green lighting is darn nice to say the least . The wide posts elevation and windage leading to the mildot instead of all mildot is very handy .... and the dots are small enough not to cover anything small but large enough to get the kill zone quick . We took her out when the sun was going down and scoped targets deep in the tree cover .... WOW !  Yikes   I think I'm in love ...... Hugger.... LOL
