    Posted: March/16/2010 at 14:08
At the IWA and Outdoor Classic Exibition in Nurnberg Germany last weekend, Carl Zeiss presented a new serie of rifle scopes, The Zeiss Duralyt.
It is said that it has the quality of the Classic and priced as the Conquest.

Fully made in Germany it has a 30mm tube, models are 1,2-5x36, 2-8x42, and 3-12x50.
Only one reticle available, #6,  1cm clicks/ 100 meters, greyish coating, eye relief 90 mm / 3 1/2 ".
It is said that the new scope is aimed toward the stainless/composite riflepark of hard working rifles.
A very interesting newcomer and I for one, see the 2-8x42 a winner on a rifle ment for  various big game hunting.
Something to put on my Hawkeye in 375 Ruger Wink

If info about this new scope is already posted , I apologise and the moderator can delite this post

Sounds interesting. I wasn't able to find the #6 reticle. Any pictures?
Reaction time is a factor...

No neighter could I, but according to the description I got, it sound like a #4 of some sort.
I found the info on a local hunting site here in Norway, but the scope is also mentioned on Carl Zeiss official site under news for 2010

If memory serves me right, #6 reticle is the same style as #4 except the thick bars are about twice thinner and the horizontal spacing between the thick bars is twice wider.

The same was said about the Conquest line, only for USA.
Today they are sold in Europe.
If one find it interesting enough to import, I cant see why it can´t be done?
