I wrote Corbett Leatherwood and asked about this scope since it seems to have a useful power range and a system that will allow you to dial in correction for trajectory without buying special add on Kenton knobs.

Here is what I asked:

Leatherwood Hi-Lux ATR Uni-Dial Rifle Scope 4-16x 50mm Top-Angle Focus Mil-Dot Reticle Matte           SWFA product:  UD416X50MD
There appears to be a raised area where rings could not be attached.  Can you tell me the length of that raised area because I want to know if it will fit within an Armalite one piece mount.
REPLY
The closest the rings can be (due to the heavy shoulders of the tube at the turret housing), from the front of the rear ring to the rear of the front ring is 3.530".  And they can be spread out (windened) to 6.25" from the front of the front ring to the rear of the rear ring.

Please let me know if this adequately answers your question.

Best Regards,

Corbett
