Ok so my 300 win mag project has changed directions and I am wanting reasurrance on my setup.
Winchester Model 70
300 win mag
Choate Ultimate Sniper Stock (currently on the big brown truck headed this way, UPS)
Shoots cloverleafs all day at 100yds
Going with either the 10x SS or the 20x SS (havent' decided yet) and the SS rings. Badger Base.
I want to put on a 1 piece base and new rings for long range shooting. I thinking of making this my designated 600yd+ (up to a 1000) gun. If I put on a 20moa base but then decide I want to drop down to say 100yards will I have the adjustment to do that? Better question what would my range of adjustment be in yards? I haven't ever done any long range with the 300 only my 308 and now that I have a can on the 308 it I dont' use if for anything past 300yrds and want to go with the 300 win mag.
I dont' know much about the 300 win mag performance past 200yds

Yes it will be fine. You could probably easily go from 100 yards all the way to 1 mile with that setup.
