Why should I buy a 10HD instead of the 10x?  How much better is the HD glass?

Thanks!

The HD glass is a significant improvement over the "regular" 10X, more than just glass.  The 10XHD glass improvement is very noticeable.  The 10X is a good value, just depends on what you are looking for.  Do a search for Super Sniper 10XHD and you will find a lot of good info on the "whys and wherefores".   There are several reviews...

The SS10X42HD also has 1/10 milrad adjustments to compliment the mil-dot reticle. The SS10X42M has 1/4 moa.
The SS39X42 is also milrad. The mil-dot is also easier to pick up in marginal light than many high quality scopes I've compared it to in the last four months. For under $600 it is a very good buy.

+1....I own both old & new SS10x,the original is a terrific deal for the bucks, the new 10x hd is by far a better deal, both in design & economy!

also I was looking on ebay under riflescopes.com feedback not to good! Also what about warranty on these ss I thought it was lifetime they were saying limited lifetime. The price was also differant by 20.00 higher than whats on the swfa(16x42ss 299.99) I don't know about this guys. Makes me a bit weary, I ordered the 20x b4 but this makes me wonder if the 2nd might be a problem.

Everywhere I look on the internet you guys are top notch cs, so why this guy? Hell who knows The guy was prob. sitting buy the phone all day or something. Just wanted to say wasnt trying to get anyone upset just wondering why it was marked up  now I know from my own stupidity. Oh and what about the warranty limited or lifetime? Sorry again   Hey wait a min what do you mean no scope for me?????? I am appreciative. although the guy on show was funny.(Nothing for you!!)

Oh you are referring to one person that left us negative feedback out of hundreds and his complaint was that we did not repsond.  We did respond to him many times but for some reason he was not getting our messages.

Back on track. The only mistake, because guys sometimes have chowder for brains is to have called the 3-9 and 10xHD, Super Snipers.  If you had called these Dream Wonder Scopes you would have gotten twenty three hundred pages of guys who had never seen one claim they where designed by the Scope Gods.

These are excellent scopes and I plan on purchasing more of them.

Just as a word of caution:  comparing optics via "through the scope" pictures is both pointless and futile.  Too many other variables control what the pictures looks like.  At best, the pictures will tell you what the reticle looks like, but aside from that it is a pointless exercise.

That's exactly right Ilya.

Since someone will invariably ask why.. Camera lens quality is a big factor here. Then there's focus, lighting, back drop, mag range, and a few other factors as well.

Spot on.

Before all that takes effect, there is a simple matter of alignment, setting up the camera for the right conditions, etc.

I once experimented with it and with proper motion control stages, I can set up "studio quality" through the scope pictures, but it is pretty involved.
