Looks pretty good and simple. I've been content without zero stop on SS scopes since they have turn marks. I really disliked the absence of either on compact NXS turrets...enough to pay to have NF add zero-stop.

I've seen companies void warranties due to these types of zero stops, I'd get the OK from a Chris before buying.
That said, if it gets the OK, it'll be a good solution.

That's a good point. It seems like they'd be harmless, especially being made of Delrin, but you never know what might affect the inner workings of a turret.

nightforce zero is a locking clutch system that must be threaded to the same ultra fine pitch, then tapped to lock. inserts will act as a camming lever to lift the main assembly as the knob is turned down on it. this is the problem not the material its made from. As RC suggests get SWFA's approval, (or any other makers') before using these. Personally I would avoid them on any high quality scope

I've asked them to send us a set so we can make see exactly how they interact with the turret's internal design.

They are good to go.
We've had plans to do this on our own but with too many irons in the fire we just never got around to it. I am glad that they took the initiative to do this. We will be buying from them in bulk and offering them on our site soon. |

Understand these work with the fixed SS scopes, 3-15x and 5-20X based on one of the developers comments on another forum (TimK), who happens to be pretty close to where I live.
Do these also work with the SWFA 1-4x, 1-6x and 3-9X?

Im sure I will need a set or two. I have used rubber gaskets below the knob to approximate and keep from going too far. Might be a better design to make them lay around the base of the turret below the knob like the way I used the rubber gaskets.

Wes, can you send me a pic of your set-up? That sounds like a good idea, as well.

Can't wait to see them on your site. Any idea of the price you'll offer them at?
Will be needing a set for a 1-6, 3-9, and 5-20.

One of the guys who is bringing these to market just posted on the "hide" that SWFA has determined that the shims for the 5-20 potentially could damage the scope and shouldn't be used............ Can you confirm this SWFA?

The fixed power and 3-15X zero-stops are good to go. The 5-20X zero-stop design will not work. I have been testing these for a while and found that the chances of damaging the 5-20 are fairly high when using the zero-stops. I have been exploring new options and hope to have a design soon.
