Fellas I am looking to put some sort day and night sighting system on a ar flattop project I am finishing this week. I would like something that can be used with a conventional scope or a red dot type. I am looking at the ATN PS28, it is a gen 2+ I have a budget of about $1800 I am looking for a system that will allow sighting of hogs and other vermin to at least 100 yards at night in near total darkness with out affecting the day capability of a conventional scope. Also what is the scoop on laser designators used in conjunction with a conventional scope. Thanks in advance for the help.

try to get a good used pvs 14 and stick that on the ocular bell off your day scope using a d.s.a get a good illuminator and you will be able to shoot your hogs at much longer ranges than 100yds...long as your day scope has P.A adjustment side or front...lot better than the ps28 gen2+and you can use higher mag with the 14
